Well, according to the RR3 wiki - the following cars cost between 100-274 Gold in the game, from low to high:

Aston Martin Vanquish - 110

KTM X-Bow R - 115

2003 Porsche 911 GT2 - 120

Ford Mustang GT Premium - 125

Lexus LFA - 130

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 - 140

Chevrolet ‘69 Stingray 427 - 150

Ariel Atom V8 - 150

Porsche 918 RSR Concept - 150

Ferrari F50 - 160

Shelby ‘66 Cobra 427 - 180

Lamborghini Countach - 210

Aston Martin Vantage N430 - 240

Audi R8 V10 Spyder - 150

Renault DeZir Concept - 260

Spada Codatronca Barchetta - 270

I would personally choose the Ariel Atom V8 - the driver camera perspective is amazing. Costs 150 Gold. Has a higher PR rating. Slightly lower service time.

Note: I’m level 58, managed to score a free Aston DB9 on the anniversary and two free unlocked series with it (crucial, that, because I’m one step closer to the Master career group), and haven’t unlocked a lot of series yet. I think the 918 RSR will be a great investment, and it’s top dog too in East/West Throwdown, so that’s a lot of leverage.

Countach more than an LFA? Strange - take the LFA.

The 918 RSR is useful in some later series so I’d say yes.
